Please join us for our SECFS conversations online series showcasing recent books about eighteenth-century France.
At our meeting on Friday, September 24 at 3pm EST (8pm BST), Carole Dornier, professor emerita of the University of Caen (France), will present her book—La Monarchie éclairée de l’abbé de Saint-Pierre: Une science politique des Modernes. Oxford University Studies in the Enlightenment. Liverpool: Liverpool University Press, 2020— in conversation with Patrizia Oppici of University of Macerata (Italy). After their conversation, there will be time for further questions from the audience.
