Professor Peter Sabor

Professor Peter Sabor is Canada Research Chair in Eighteenth-Century Studies and Director of the Burney Centre at McGill University in Montreal, which is dedicated to the publication of complete, definitive scholarly editions of the journals and letters of the eighteenth-century novelist Frances Burney and the letters and memoirs of her father, the music historian Dr Charles Burney.

An internationally renowned expert in textual editing, he is also General Editor of the Complete Works and Correspondence of Samuel Richardson, as well as an editor of various editions of works by eighteenth-century authors.
